Project summary

The project strengthensclimate resilience in La Paz by promoting environmental education, youth-ledclimate action, circular economy practices and water harvestingsystems in schools. It empowers children and youth to adopt sustainable habits,enhances disaster risk reduction capacities and supports municipalgovernance for environmental management. 

Why was the project developed?

Bolivia faces severeclimate vulnerability, environmental degradation and urban pollution, affectingchildren and youth disproportionately. The project responds to the urgent needto build resilience, improve environmental awareness and strengthenlocal capacities to address water scarcity, waste mismanagement anddisaster risks.
